Joey is designed for toddlers, preschoolers, and early primary readers. Younger children can listen and follow along with a grown-up, while emerging readers can use narration, word highlighting, and Read by myself as they gain confidence.
Joey is book-first. Children choose real picture books, hear the story read aloud, and follow the words on the page. Word Hunt keeps vocabulary practice inside the story, and the experience stays focused on reading instead of feeds, ads, or unrelated videos.
Joey includes Read to me, Read by myself, and Audio only. Families can also adjust narration speed and word magnification so the experience suits each child's stage.
Joey is parent-managed and designed as a focused reading space, not an open web browser, social feed, or video platform. Children read inside the Joey library and the child reading experience is ad-free.

Joey Books is available through supported App Store and Google Play devices, and through the Joey web app where available. Visit the download page from the device you want to use.
Joey Books currently has an introductory offer of A$4.99 for the first 3 months. After that, the plan you choose renews at A$14.99 per month or A$99 per year unless cancelled.
Your exact price, renewal date, and cancellation details are shown before you confirm through the App Store, Google Play, or Joey checkout.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. To stop future billing, cancel through the billing provider linked to your subscription. Billing is managed through the App Store, Google Play, or Joey checkout, depending on where you subscribe.

Deleting the app or cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete account data, so please contact us if you want data removed.
